Several of my works with electronics require vases or jars to hang from microphone/percussion stands. I have found the most effective way of doing is this using macrame plant holders. Creating these plant holders require little to no prior experience in macrame.

These hanging apparatuses can be created out of jute cord or yarn, though I have created them using fishing wire for a lighter, “floating” aesthetic. When using fishing wire, I have used sticky tack where each string meets the lip of the jar/vase to secure in place.
